Inauguration of the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Bhubaneswar; Odisha CM, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh participate

Bhubaneshwar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan took part in the inauguration of the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple inaugurated today in Bhubaneswar. Swaropanandendra Saraswathi Swami of Visakha Sharada Peetham also graced the occasion.

In his speech, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh said that the newly constructed Srivari Temple in Bhubaneswar is a benign blessing from Lord Venkateswara himself to the people of Odisha. “It has facilitated the devotees who have not been able to make their pilgrimage to Tirumala due to age, health, finances and any other reason. Now the devotees will have the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at their doorsteps and they will be able to have darshan of the Universal Lord every day,” he maintained.

Speaking on the occasion, TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said that the world renowned Hindu religious organization of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has taken up Hindu Dharma Prachara on a large scale and carried out several religious activities, large-scale bhakti and dharmics for the welfare of all humanity.

As part of its main program of protection and propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD has so far built 501 temples in remote areas and another 1130 temples are under construction. Under the instruction of our CM Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, TTD provided them with free darshan of Sri Venkateswara on important occasions.
