Karthi Visits Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple After Viruman Audio Launch

The audio launch of Karthi’s upcoming film, Viruman, was held in Madurai recently. Shortly after the audio launch, Karthi reportedly visited the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple in the city. A video of the actor walking inside the temple has surfaced on the internet. It is said that Karthi visited the temple to seek the blessings of the goddess before the release of its rural artist. Fans of the actor got a pleasant surprise when they saw one of their favorite actors in the temple. Some of them even managed to click pictures with the star.

Viruman’s audio launch was a star-studded affair as the entire cast and crew, including Suriya, were also present at the event. The brothers showed up to the event in traditional attire and were seen chatting on stage to the delight of the audience. The brother duo, Suriya and Karthi are set to share screen space soon with a spin-off of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi where there will be a face-off between their characters Rolex (Vikram) and Dilli (Kaithi). Karthik joked that there were many confrontations between the brothers growing up, as they would fight with each other.

Viruman is a rural artist who once again teams up Karthi with Muthaiah. The duo had previously worked together in Komban, which was also a rustic, rural film. Viruman marks the debut of director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi. The trailer for the movie was released recently and already has more than 4 million views since its release. Karthi said during the audio launch that he will be seen in a hyper local avatar in the film and will play Prakash Raj’s son. He also revealed that his father was his biggest villain in the film and it was a fabulous experience to work with Prakash Raj. The audio launch location was also decorated with the props used on the sets of the film, to the delight of the public.
