Southern actress Trisha visits Madurai’s Meenakshi Amman Temple

Trisha’s next film is Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1.

Film industry celebrities from the South are noted to regularly visit important temples and shrines, and actress Trisha Krishnan is the most recent to join the list. Actress Ghilli recently visited the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai to ask for blessings and offer her prayers.

The actress posted a photo of her visit to the temple on Instagram Stories, where she is seen wearing a brown ethnic outfit.

Trisha turned 39 on May 4. She received lots of love and blessings from her fans and acquaintances, and spent her birthday receiving blessings from the Lord. She went to Tirupati Ezhumalaiyan Temple on her birthday and offered her prayers to Lord Tirupati.

She was spotted at the entrance gate of the sanctuary. Trisha chose a traditional dark crimson shawl with gold trim to pull on. She was effortlessly dressed in traditional attire.

On her birthday, Trisha also revealed the first look at her upcoming film, The Road, and announced the start of the filming schedule. The film, directed by Arun Vaseegaran, will also star actor Shabeer of Sarpatta Parambarai fame.

The film is billed as a revenge drama with a tagline, “Revenge in 462 kms”. The movie is also supposed to feature Trisha in a never-before-seen avatar.

Trisha is also awaiting the release of her next film Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1. Maniratnam’s magnum opus is a big budget production that gives Trisha an unusual persona. In the film, fans will witness the royal side of the actress. She will play Princess Kundavai. The film will be released in two parts. The first part is set to hit theaters on September 30 this year. The film also stars Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
