The state government has entrusted PHMED with the task of preparing detailed project reports (DPRs) for the development of smart physical and social infrastructure in the municipality area. The department requested proposals to appoint consultants for the preparation of DPRs (excluding projects taken over by HMWS & SB, R&B, YTDA, etc.)
Official sources indicate that the proposed facilities in the municipal area include smart lighting systems throughout secondary and secondary roads. They also involve the construction of smart toilets in accordance with the standards of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and the Central Organization of Public Health and Environmental Engineering (CPHEEO) all along the arteries, sub-arteries and places of gathering, taking into account the regular requirements, holidays and celebrations. , with the aim of making Yadgirigutta an ODF + or ODF ++ city.
Other proposals include the development of parks at neighborhood, group and city level, construction of new Vaikuntha Dhamams, modernization of existing cemeteries, development of Smritivanams, construction of new vegetarian and non-vegetarian markets. , the development of footbridges and sidewalks, deployment of the necessary street furniture, construction of an integrated office complex including a municipal office building in a privileged location, ensuring good accessibility.
The consultants should prepare a master plan that includes various development activities, such as parking lots, hotels, markets, business centers, smart lighting, junction improvements, battery vehicles for the temple, etc.
